Start here
Required training for PCAs
Complete these trainings before you begin providing services. Keep a copy of every certificate — we’ll ask for them during onboarding.
PCA/CFSS Certificate Training & Test
The PCA/CFSS (Personal Care Assistant / Community First Services and Supports) certificate is required before you can provide PCA services. The free state training covers individualized care plans, communication, safety practices and how to respectfully assist people with daily activities. Finish the course, pass the test and save your certificate.
Data Privacy Training
Everyone who supports clients handles private information. This training explains confidentiality, privacy rules and safe ways to store and share personal data, so the people you serve can trust that their information is protected.
Mandated reporting
Mandated Reporter Training
As a caregiver you are a mandated reporter. These trainings explain your legal and ethical duty to report suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation, how to recognize the warning signs and exactly how to make a report.
Maltreatment of Vulnerable Adults
Learn to recognize signs of abuse, neglect and financial exploitation of vulnerable adults, when and how to report, and how to keep the people in your care safe.
Maltreatment of Minors
Understand the indicators of child maltreatment, the reporting process and your role in protecting children you may encounter while providing care.
